Serving Utrecht since 1996.
Situated right in the heart of historic Utrecht, De Beurs has been serving the town's citizens since 1996. At our bright-red, centuries-old composite building looking out over de Neude, we welcome you to a hearty lunch or a pleasant dinner. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, the restaurant transforms into a bar where you can dance to your heart's content, whereas during the summer season, you can enjoy drinks on our pavement on the square. In 2017, De Beurs was completely renovated and renewed, adding a second-floor restaurant and attractive meeting rooms on the third and fourth floors.Book a table
Taste the Josper Grill & Turnpike Smoker
During the 2017 renovation, our kitchen was upgraded with the addition of a Turnpike smoker and a Josper grill. The Josper is an authentic Spanish charcoal-fired oven that uses only wood as fuel. We fire it up to as much as 400 °C (750 °F). High-quality charcoal and an accurately adjustable airflow drench every piece of meat, fish, fowl, and even vegetable prepared in the Josper with an authentic, unmistakable grill flavour.
The Turnpike is a custom-made, charcoal-fired smoker. It is used to prepare dishes by way of indirect grilling: the food is cooked for a longer time at a lower temperature. This makes for a unique kind transfer of flavour and smokiness, and with that, that real juicy BBQ taste.

Meeting rooms & private restaurant
In the upper levels of the building, a number of characteristic new spaces have been created during the renovation. Here, you can have meetings in a quiet, undisturbed setting, organize a large-scale dinner with drinks looking out over the buzzing lower floor, and anything in between. Ask us for more information and possibilites!Check out the spaces
The private upper floor of the restaurant can accomodate up to 70 guests for dinner, and 150 for drinks. The space features attractive lighting, historic details dating back to the 17th century, and it has its own bar.
This secluded room is located where Lammerts van Buren, the sailmaker who used to own the building, previously hung up his products for tightening. It has been repurposed into a well-lit, peaceful room perfectly fit for (company) meetings and presentations.
Beneath De Beurs' gabled roof, looking out over the historic Neude square, is the beautiful Upper Loft. Softly lit and satisfyingly symmetrical, this room is an extremely pleasant place to get together, listen to speeches and discuss business.
